Some Recent Advances in Inverse Obstacle/Medium Scattering

We shall review some numerical and theoretical advances in inverse obstacle/medium scattering problems in the last few years. Some mathematical developments on the identifiability of scatterers are first presented, then several new methods for the numerical reconstructions are discussed, and both near-field and far-field measurements are covered. Numerical simulations will be also demonstrated. This work was supported by Hong Kong RGC grants (projects 405110 and 404611).
