Wherefore Art Thou Convolution Generated Motion?

Barry Merriman

Convolution Generated Motion is a novel method for
producing curvature dependent interface motion. I will discuss the
origins and generalization of this approach, with the goal of
understanding
its proper relation to more standard interface motion models, such as
Phase-Field Equations,
Level Set Methods, and Cellular Automata.
