We study a class of nonlinear kinetic Fokker-Planck type equations modeling quantum particles which obey the Bose-Einstein and
Fermi-Dirac statistics, respectively. We establish the existence of classical solutions in the perturbative regime and prove exponential convergence towards the equilibrium.
