Technology

The Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics Information Technology Group provides a wide array of technical services to IPAM program participants. IPAM-IT maintains 100 workstations devoted to research and a high-speed wireless network for visitor use.  We also provide extensive video and audiovisual services.

IPAM provides long program participants with dual-boot Windows 7/Linux desktop computers and a wide variety of analysis software, such as Matlab, Mathematica, C a071-Emily Carter_IPAMnd C++ compilers, LaTeX, and office software applications. In addition, parallel-computing resources are available through UCLA, as well as access to the world-class UCLA digital library.
