Gender differences in disease prevalence and time to diagnosis

There are urgent gaps to address to advance the health of women: improving our understanding of women’s specific, accounting for sex differences in disease presentation and treatment response, and mitigating gender disparities in access to care and care delivery. In this talk, I will describe an exploration of gender differences in disease diagnosis and time to diagnosis across 100 conditions and 200 million individuals in the United States.
