Mapping large conformation transitions in biomolecular systems

Benoit Roux
University of Chicago

Large conformational changes in biological macromolecules are slow processes taking place on timescales that are beyond the reach of brute force MD simulations. New strategies to treat these problems will be discussed. Applications and examples will include work on the glutamate receptor, Src tyrosine kinases, and potassium channels.
