Grad School and Beyond: Advice for the Aspiring Mathematician
November 13, 2014
Overview
The Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IPAM) is pleased to host four mathematicians at various stages in their academic careers for a special event for undergraduate students. Each panelist will give a 15-minute presentation on their research and then participate in a panel discussion covering their careers choices, mentorship experiences and the importance of diversity in math, and offer advice to undergraduates who want to pursue mathematics as a career. We invite undergraduate students in mathematics, statistics and related fields to join us! A reception will follow the event.
