UCLA Professor and IPAM Director of Special Projects Stanley Osher Exceeds 150,000 Citations on Google Scholar
UCLA Professor and IPAM Director of Special Projects Stanley Osher reached an incredible milestone in his career, having hit over 150,000 citations on Google Scholar last week.
Osher has been cited 150057 times since 1988 with an h-index of 130, making him the third highest cited researcher in the history of UCLA. For those who may not know, the h-index is the standard scholarly metric that calculates the number of publications for which an author has been cited by other authors at least that same number of times. For example, an h-index of 10 means that the author has published at least 10 papers that have each been cited at least 10 times.
Join us in congratulating Professor Osher for this amazing feat!
