I will talk about recent work on geometric methods in image processing and data fusion. This includes diffuse interface methods and extensions of these to both wavelet based methods and general graph-based methods. I will also talk about work based on higher order PDE related to the geometry of objects including segmentation of objects with corners. I will also speak about problems in data analysis of human event activity such as crime mapping from density estimation and exploitation of clustering of data on social networks to fill in missing information.
